Why we started

BrokerMyAgent was born from decades spent deep inside the real estate industry - valuations, acquisitions, property analysis, and senior sales roles at one of Australia's largest agencies. Over that time, we saw the same patterns repeat: sellers walking into negotiations blind, trusting whoever knocked on their door first, and walking away with far less than they deserved.
The industry had become comfortable with outdated, self-serving practices. Agents quoting whatever the market would bear. Sellers with no independent benchmark, no advocate, and no real way to tell a sharp operator from a smooth talker. The result? Billions in unnecessary commissions paid every year - mostly by people who simply didn't know they had a choice.
We knew there had to be a better way. A smarter way.
